Agriturismo Ferdy for more than 25 years has been picking up alpine wild herbs on our mountains between 500 and 2000 masl! The majority of the picking up in done during the spring before the herbs turn into flowers, while when it is almost summer we move to the higher mountains.
Ferdy, since the beginning of his family company, has always had a strong bond with the wild herbs picking up, a tradition that has been passed on from generation to generation and has imporved time by time by reading books and dedication.
Nowadays in our kitchen we use more than 40 species!
In the video you will see the 'catchfly plant', it is know as crakly due to the sound it does when you pick it up.
A healthy and tasting herb good with cheese or stir fried.
