Tuesday 12 December 2017

Slow Food new product put in the Luxury Cheese list, the most expensive and rare cheeses in the world!

Orobic Goat "Matuscin": The Champagne of the Cheese

Ancient cheese belonging to the Pre-Alps Orobie, centre of the Gerola Vally Goat.

Made only with Orobic Goat milk, a milk that has all the excellent properties of the natural breeding eating wild flowers.

The rarity of this milk and therfore cheese is due to the high quility of them and the very low quantity of milk that the goats produce per day.

The hand milking process on steep mountains and the artisanal cheese making process, done according to the original method with woodfire, make the “Matuscin”the champagne of the cheeses.
