We are very Happy ? to share with you the high score our #FormaideMut 2015 ⛰ received at FormaggItalia fair!

Our "Formai de Mut 2015" Cheese made at our Ferdy Pasture in the Hell's Valley, was rewarded at the prestigious Contest reserved for the Mountains products of excellence! 

"FormaggItalia 2017 Contest– ONAF (National Organizations of the Cheese Tasters), partner with IS.LA. Srl, the company who invented and organizes the contest FormaggItalia, created the 1st edition of the National Cheese making contest “FormaggItalia – Mountains cheese made with raw milk”. The contest is only for those kind of cheese made above 600 masl with raw milk (that did not received any kind of external heat process) from any breed. The target of the contest is to enhance the qualities of producing cheese with raw milk and produces in places able to create products of extreme value. The Cheeses will be graded by ONAF experst and each partecipant will receive the final scores."

Our 'Formai de Mut' cheese is produced only with our Original Brown cows milk that breeds on our high mountains. The milk will be 'cooked' only with the wood heat in the traditional way. Every step of the production is done according the the old traditions methods, from the hand milking to the salting. We are very proud that teh jury appreciated our continuos work on the territory.
